On this site, I have attempted
to offer an insight into my personal interests in terms of work and recreation
including details of my employment and academic history.
I have provided a
download area where you can access a number of my papers and
presentations in various formats. This is an attempt to provide an
initial feel for my constantly developing knowledge-sharing research
interest.
I present an introduction to one
of my favourite research interests,
social networks. This is a rapidly growing area of research in the
Social Sciences and Community Informatics with researchers being drawn
from a very wide range of disciplines.
I also share with you a number
of my favourite
links (which I hope you will find useful) and a selection of
quotes (I have always been an avid fan of a well-honed quotation).
You can access a current copy of
my curriculum vitae along with details of
how to contact me.
'The Learning Zone'
contains handy tips, hints and strategies to aid
research methods and
study skills which are particular
interests of mine.
Finally, why not
visit my introduction to knowledge
management which forms the basis of
my teaching on knowledge-sharing in social networks.
